Vorderseite: + KE bOHΘEI - ROmAnW dESPOtE [Herr, hilf dem Herrn Romanos]. Romanus I. in Stola (loros), l., mit Krone, darauf ein Kreuz, samt Pendilien, hält in seiner r. Hand einen Kreuzglobus. Der Kaiser wird von Christus, r., mit Bibel in der l. Hand und Kreuz hinter dem Kopf mit der r. Hand bekränzt.

Rückseite: COnStant Et XPISTOF b R [Constantinus et Christoferus Basileis Romaion]. Drapierte Büsten des Constantinus VII., in Stola (loros) l., und des Christophorus mit Mantel, r., beide bärtig und mit Krone, darauf ein Kreuz, gemeinsam mit ihrer r. Hand ein Patriarchenkreuz haltend.
