Im Hauptkatalog des Museums wurde bei Eingang dieses Objekts folgendes vermerkt: "desgl. [= III C 7994 a,b: Messer mit Scheide] Scheide und Griff aus Holz geschnitzt. Auf den Griff wie auf das untere Ende der Scheide ist eine Patronenhülse aufgesteckt. Messer 28 cm lg. (Klinge 18,5 cm), Scheide 23 cm. Verfertigt in Marungu (erworben in Muliro, Tawa).". [SM8HF]
